About the Award
The Smith Student Outreach Award is an annual competition recognizing the best student-focused liberty projects among Atlas Network grantees. Winners are honored at Atlas Network's annual Liberty Forum and Freedom Dinner in New York City each November.
Eligibility
Recipients must meet the following criteria:
- Been awarded an Atlas Network grant for their student-focused project
- Shown tangible and meaningful impact for students in their region
- Promoted the ideas of individual freedom and/or free markets in their work
No application required — all past and current grantees are automatically considered for this award.
Prize & Recognition
The winner receives a $3,000 monetary award and is honored at Atlas Network's annual Liberty Forum and Freedom Dinner, held each November in New York City.
